Chronicling the scandalous, devious, sometimes murderous past of our favorite pastime.
The 2021 prop handgun death of Halyna Hutchins on the set of the film Rust, brought two names back into the minds of pop culture fans. The first was Brandon Lee, who died in 1993 on the set of The Crow. The second was Jon-Erik Hexum, who died on the set of the CBS series Cover Up in 1984. The first season of Dark Tube looks at Hexum's meteoric rise, tireless efforts to maintain his celebrity, and the events surrounding his tragic and some say preventable death at the age of 27.
